This 24-page coloring book is not just a coloring book—it’s also a story about the Christmas Eve when the lights went out at Lily and Max’s farmhouse just when company was coming for Christmas Eve dinner.  Although the lights on the Christmas tree inside aren’t shining, everyone experiences a light shining in the darkness as they venture outside and sing “Silent Night,” reflecting on the meaning of light coming into the world on this night. Use this coloring book with your congregation--children and anyone who likes to color!--to tell the Advent story of God’s light and love coming to us with the birth of the Christ child.  

Illustrations were created by Ted Dawson, a member of Judson Memorial Church in New York City.
