ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Marian R. Plant is associate professor and Schauffler Chair of Christian Education at The Defiance College in Defiance, Ohio, where she also serves as the co-coordinator of its Design for Leadership program. She received her M.Div. from The Methodist Theological School in Ohio and her Ed.D. from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. She is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ and one of its certified church education specialists.
